Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders and severe mental illness.

Carefully constructed exercises are used to help clients evaluate and change their thoughts and behaviors. The client and therapist explore how thoughts and behaviors impact feelings to overcome what is sometime called “vicious circles” of thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
