Kevin is a counselor-educator who assists individuals, groups, couples and families with overcoming the challenges associated mental health. He has extensive experience helping children, adolescents, and adults in enhancing their ability to navigate and overcome depression, anxiety, self-doubt, and relationship issues. During his client-centered, solution-focused sessions, he utilizes mindfulness-integrated cognitive-behavior therapy in which clients learn the skills to examine and challenge unhealthy thoughts in the moment and develop healthy ways to cope with negative emotions and extinguish self-defeating behaviors.
Beyond this, Kevin seeks to aid clients in restoring their confidence, enhancing their capabilities, and setting goals. Kevin is currently working under the supervision of Tracey Lee, Licensed Professional Counselor, Distance Certified Counselor, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
