Expressive Arts Therapy Group Ages 11-15


Expressive arts uses expressive artwork to explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior, develop social skills, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. A goal in art therapy is to improve or restore a client’s functioning and his or her sense of personal well-being.

• Adopting healthy coping strategies
• Developing decision making and problem solving skills
• Improving self-esteem and body image
• Increasing self-care
• Learning healthy communication styles and social skills
• Managing social pressures and increasing social awareness
• Understanding relationships
•Challenges with managing school and homework

Size Limit: 8 -10 Participants
Day/Time: Tuesday’s at 4:00 pm
